In order to remain an independent movement, challenging the injustice of poverty and helping to create a fairer world, Global Justice Now depends on the funds that come from our supporters. Without these inspiring and committed people we simply couldn’t exist!
We would like to say “THANK YOU!” to all those who have given up their time to fundraise for us. That includes:
In 2014, grandmother and non-lover of heights, Christine, climbed Ben Nevis and raised a fantastic £450.
Over 2012 and 2013 Lucy set herself a whole alphabet of challenges, from the Amsterdam marathon to swimming in the autumnal seas at Zandvoort, and in doing so raised over £1300.
John and Jonathan
In September 2013 John and Jonathan cycled from London to Brighton between them bringing in around £600 for Global Justice Now’s campaigns.
Joel gambled on his food for a week in 2013, tossing a coin before each meal to determine whether or not he could eat, and collected £400 towards our food campaign.
In summer 2013 Alison braved midges and drizzle to walk the 95 miles of the West Highland Way and raised a whooping £1500.
Keith, Matt and Kate
This intrepid trio trekked the West Highland Way in spring 2012 to collectively bring in around £3000.
On a late autumn’s day in 2012 Ben took on the Venice marathon and in doing so made £350 for our campaigns.
Andrea, Martyn, Paul, Lawrence and John
In 2012 this group of Global Justice Now supporters cycled from London to Brighton and between them collected nearly £1000.
Alan and Rosie
Alan and Rosie travelled through wind, rain and, mercifully, some sun as they cycled from London to Paris in May 2012 and between them raised £1200.
