Globally, many of the most effective initiatives in relation to climate change have come from local councils and the majority of our local councils have recognised the urgency of the current crisis by declaring a climate emergency. Many have also published action plans but there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution. The good news is that climate solutions benefit both environment and humanity.
