“Anything less than complete ban on arms sales to Israel would extend UK complicity”, campaigners say

In response to reports the UK has suspended arms export licence applications for Israel pending review, Tim Bierley, campaigner at Global Justice Now said:

As Israel continues to commit grave war crimes with a flagrant disregard of international law, even an administrative suspension of arms exports is welcome. But a full decision is long overdue. With the horrors faced by Palestinians – day in, day out – intensifying, anything less than a complete ban on arms sales to Israel would extend UK complicity.”
