A threat to justice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere

I still don’t see the logic in any of this:
1) Reckless banking brings about a global financial crisis
2) The banks are bailed out with taxpayers’ money
3) The public sector pays – cuts and austerity measures are enforced
4) Bankers carry on as usual
Having seen and campaigned against the similar devastation western-led cuts and austerity agendas have caused amongst poor communities in some of the poorest countries of the world, I definitely don’t want to see vulnerable groups in the UK suffer. I want to use my experience of working at WDM to let people know that we have proof that these cuts won’t work.
If we can stop this neo-liberal agenda being forced on the UK there can be no justification for it being exported abroad.
So, after supporting local action (such as UK Uncut’s great idea of a big society breakfast), myself and other WDM members will be joining London’s main march and rally in solidarity.
If you want to join us please meet us outside the Old Curiosity Shop at 11.00am (look out for the flags), as we march from Lincoln Inns Field to a rally at Westminster Central Hall at 1.00pm.
