Edinburgh and Lothians

Global Justice Edinburgh and Lothians is a local group member of Global Justice Now. We campaign locally on international social justice issues such as climate change, sovereign debt, economic justice issues and migrant rights. Our focus is usually on local action we can take on Global Justice Now’s current campaigns.

What we do

We’ve done some campaigning locally with Divest Lothian to support the campaign to stop the East African Crude Oil Pipeline. And we are holding stalls and lobbying our MSPs and Councillors to endorse the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty. As well as campaigning for the First Minister to endorse the treaty, we also hope to persuade East Lothian council to endorse the treaty.

At the moment we are not meeting in person, but we all join the monthly online Scotland-wide zoom meeting and you can meet us there.
