Fundraise for justice
Whether you’re thinking of holding an event, completing a challenge or setting up a celebration fundraiser in support of Global Justice Now, we’d like to kick things off by saying a massive thank you!
Raising money by being sponsored to complete a challenge
There might be organised challenge events in your area like a half marathon or a bike ride that you might be inspired to join, they may provide you with a personalised online fundraising page. Otherwise, or if you want to set your own challenge, you can raise money for us by setting up a page on JustGiving [https://www.justgiving.com/wdm]. We’re registered with JustGiving so you’ll just need to select us when you set up your fundraiser.
On your fundraising page, along with the details of your challenge, it’s a great idea to include your own personal reasons for supporting Global Justice Now, and how you feel you connect to the campaign. When you’re ready to ask others for sponsorship approach the people you feel most confident will support you – people you’re particularly close to – first, as their donations will encourage people you’re not as close to to donate as well.
Setting up a donation page in celebration
If you want to ask for donations to Global Justice Now in celebration of your birthday or a special occasion we’re registered with JustGiving and Facebook so you’ll be able to use these platforms to set up a fundraiser easily.
You can include your personal reasons for supporting Global Justice Now, and how you feel you connect with our campaign in your text on the page, as this is a great opportunity to spread the word about Global Justice Now with your loved ones.
Holding an event in support of Global Justice Now
If you want to hold an event in support of Global Justice Now, we can send you leaflets with more information about Global Justice Now to share with your guests, and help you with any materials you might need.
