Public meeting and discussion

Tues September 8, 7.30pm
Methodist Church, Queen Street, Stirling

TTIP is a new trade deal that’s being negotiated in secret between the US and the EU, which many fear will lead to the privatisation of public services like the NHS and to major threats to jobs and welfare in the UK.

Hosted by Global Justice Now, the “What does TTIP mean for us?” meeting is part of a series of public discussions across the UK mobilising growing criticism of the trade deal.

With a presentation by Global Justice Now’s Harry Giles and an open discussion about the trade deal, we’ll talk about what’s happening, what it might mean for Stirling, and what we can do about it.
