Organised by the Campaign Against Climate Change
Global Justice Now meeting point: Outside the Chinese Embassy on Portland Place
At the end of this month, representatives from the world’s governments will gather in Poland for the next round of UN climate talks. They meet under the shadow of a recent UN report which gave us just 12 years to take the measures necessary to keep global temperatures from rising by 1.5°C – beyond this, the consequences for millions of people around the world will be disastrous.
Yet UN climate talks in Poland hardly augur well. The Polish government has already suggested it will prohibit and repress any protests for climate justice, and it has consistently acted in the UN process as though it is the armed wing of the coal industry.
It has never been more important that we get out on the streets and demand real action on climate change. Join Global Justice Now activists on the Together for Climate Justice march.
