The People’s March for Climate, Justice and Jobs – System Change Not Climate Change bloc
When: November 29, 2015
All over the world people are already putting into practice real solutions: public renewable energy, green infrastructure, millions of new, unionised clean jobs. But it needs to happen faster, at scale and with people at its centre.
Please join us in the System Change Not Climate Change bloc on the march for Climate Justice and Jobs on 29 November in central London.
We’ll be marching with other groups including Platform and Reclaim the Power under the banner of system change not climate change.
If you are interested please confirm if you are coming on our Facebook event and please share with your friends and family.
If you live in Scotland, you can also join Scotland’s climate march
Why we are going?
We are marching not with any faith that our governments will make a good decision in Paris, but because we want to be part of a growing surge to take back control of our energy and stop climate change. We want you to be there with us. So come along.
Ways you can help
- Invite people to our Facebook event www.facebook.com/events/113681022324606
- Leaflets. We have some great leaflets to promote the march and we need people to distribute them before the march. They also include information about other events which are happening around the COP.
- Newspaper distribution. We would love it if you could volunteer to give out our Road Through Paris newspapers at the march. We’re producing the paper to give a different perspective on the climate negotiations, with a focus on the movement and what happens next.
If you would like to help with any of these. Please contact activism on activism@globaljustice.org.uk
