Oil justice tour

The Oil Justice Project (http://oiljustice.org/), which is a collaboration between War on Want, DPG, and the Colombian NGO COSPACC, aims to tell the stories of the victims of ‘Big Oil’ and to hold companies to account where corporate crimes have been committed. To highlight these abuses in Colombia the Oil Justice Project is welcoming Gilberto Torres (a former trade unionist with Union Sindical Obrera in Colombia, who was abducted and held by right-wing paramilitaries for his union activities in the oil sector) and Francisco Ramirez Cuellar (a trade unionist and lawyer with the Colombian Unified Trade Union Federation) on a UK-wide speaker tour from 11 to 23 October 2015.

Join us on 22 October for the final speaking event of the Tour. In addition to Gilberto Torres and Francisco Ramirez Cuellar, featured speakers will include:

Danilo Urrea (CENSAT Agua Viva / Friends of the Earth Colombia)
