Join us for a family friendly rally outside the First Minister’s residence at Bute House to defend Scotland’s climate commitments. 

In 2019 the Scottish Government approved a new Climate Law, which they have widely claimed made them ‘world leaders’ on climate action. Yet after five years of a big talk and no action, they have now announced plans to scrap the 2030 target.

Action in this decade is crucial to avert the worst impacts of the climate crisis. Yet – as each annual target has been missed – wild fires, draughts and floods have been devastating communities across the world.

Delays, missed opportunities and broken promises on issues such as climate friendly farming, insulating homes and a just transition for workers have left people across Scotland poorer and more vulnerable.

There must be no more climate betrayals from politicians.
