Global Justice Now activist space for COP26

Global Justice Now will be running an activist space at 72 Berkeley Street, Glasgow G3 7DS from the evening of Thursday 4 November to the evening of Friday 5 November as a base for Global Justice Now activists and allies ahead of the big day of action on 6 November.

The space will be available to drop in, with tea, coffee and snacks available, but we’ll also have some specific activities:

Thursday 4 November. Space open 6.30pm-10pm

6.30pm onwards: Youth network meetup and banner making
8pm: Supporter orientation + political update on COP26

Friday 5 November. Space open 10am-8.30pm

10am-12noon: Pre youth-strike demo prep
2pm-5pm: Banner making
5pm: Global Justice Now supporter and activist orientation
6pm-7.30pm: WORKSHOP:
Beyond COP26 to System Change? Tactical steps towards a just transition. Discussion with interventions from Global Justice Now, ATTAC France, ATTAC Spain and others. All welcome.
8pm: Final quick supporter orientation
