Fire in the Blood tells the little-known story of an unlikely alliance, fighting back against the pharmaceutical industry. In the years following 1996, Western pharmaceutical companies aggressively blocked access to low-cost AIDS drugs for the global south – causing more than ten million unnecessary deaths.
