Film night: Who should control the production, trade and consumption of our food?

Jun23

When: June 23, 2015

Global Justice Now Macclesfield invites you to a film night and talk at 7pm on Tuesday 23 June.

The global food sovereignty movement aims for community control over the way food is produced, traded and consumed.

Join Polly Jones (head of campaigns and policy at Global Justice Now) to discuss the problems with corporate-controlled agriculture, and the growing food sovereignty movement in the UK and worldwide. Featuring reportage from Global Justice Now’s recent fieldwork with small-scale farmers in Ghana, including two brand new films produced as part of that research.

Please pass on this invitation to anyone you think may be interested and we hope to see you there!
