We’re approaching a crucial moment in the fight for a People’s Vaccine: on 13-14 October the World Trade Organisation will be hosting the last round of negotiations for the suspension of patents on Covid-19 vaccines (so called TRIPs waiver).

This proposal was tabled a year ago by India and South Africa but no deal has been reached yet because of the opposition of a small number of countries, including the UK.

Over 3.7 million people have lost their lives since the waiver has been proposed. This is truly shameful and we can’t stay silent.

On 12 October, we will hold a funeral procession protest in London to call for the UK government to change its position support the patent waiver proposal at the WTO meeting.

  • Join us for a protest in Parliament Square, London: assemble at 5pm in front of Fawcett Statue
  • IMPORTANT: PLEASE WEAR BLACK
