Annual General Meeting 2025
When: 6:30 pm, July 8, 2025
Our annual general meeting is an opportunity for members (see definition below) of Global Justice Now to hear more about our work during the last year, ask questions and contribute to the discussion about the direction of our work.
Draft AGM agenda
- Director’s report.
- Adoption of the 2024 AGM minutes and matters arising.
- Any policy motions proposed by members.
- Treasurer’s report.
- Adoption of annual report and accounts.
- Appointment of auditors.
Please register by Thursday 3 July, as we need to check all registrations against our membership records. After this is done you will be sent the joining link.
Appointing a proxy
If you are not able to attend in person, you are entitled to appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf. The deadline for this is Monday 7 July.
Resolutions
Members and local groups are entitled to submit resolutions for consideration by the AGM. The deadline is 9 June, 30 days in advance of the AGM.
Any resolution submitted to the AGM must be supported by five national members, or by two affiliated local groups, or by one local group and two national members who are not members of that group. Further details can be found in the Rules of Global Justice Now.

Definition of membership
A member of Global Justice Now is someone who pays a subscription of at least £36 per year or £3 per month with the intention of being a member. If you are unwaged, or under 26 years old, you are entitled to be a member at a reduced rate of £12 per year, or £1 per month. You can join here, or join as a young member here.
