Elected on an explicitly racist agenda, Trump is already fulfilling his hard right pledges, while appointing climate change deniers and corporate CEOs to his cabinet. Thankfully his presidency is already provoking significant resistance. Yet his poisonous brand of nationalist populism is growing elsewhere too. Our national gathering this year will discuss the world in the age of Trump and the fight for global justice in the UK after the general election.
Activists and members from Attac groups across Europe, which includes Global Justice Now, will gather in Toulouse from 23 to 27 August to exchange views, to learn from one another and to develop strategies to create a better world.
